Global Systems Science supports the state of Maine's "Learning Results."

Program ... For those of you who are interested in GSS as an integrated science curriculum program, you might find the following content alignment statistics interesting:

Learning Results and GSS Alignment Statistics:

  • 65% of the content performance indicators in Standards A- I are addressed in the Global Systems Science Curriculum Program.
  • 44% of the content performance indicators that are addressed are a strong match for all of or part of the standard.
  • 83% of the cross-cutting performance indicators in Standards J-M are addressed in the Global Systems Science Curriculum Program.
  • 65% of the cross-cutting performance indicators that are addressed are a strong match for all or part of the standard.
  • In total, 74% of Maine's Learning Results are addressed in the Global Systems Science Curriculum Program.
  • Of the total Maine Learning Results addressed, 37% are a strong match for
    all or part of the standard.
